Q: |
Can I
enter optionals at the door? |
A: |
No, all fees must be paid in advance by the deadline(s) stated
in the printable paperwork. We operate on a strict
schedule and won't have time to process payments at the
pageant or add/change things in the already-completed
computerized tabulation worksheets. |

Q: |
Will
hair/makeup artists be available for hire at the pageant? |
A: |
We
will let you know if hair and makeup artists will be attending
the pageant and will give you contact information if desired.
However, professional hair and makeup is NOT required
for this pageant. |

Q: |
What is
the criteria for hair and makeup for children? |
A: |
We
discourage the use of hair and makeup for children ages 0-6,
especially in interview. Very light makeup such as lip
gloss or a little blush is allowed for stage competitions, but
please keep in mind that the judges will want to see your
child's face, not makeup. For ages 7-12, use your discretion
in using a light amount of hair and makeup that will
enhance your child rather than detract from their natural
beauty. We are not the judges and will not make a
determination regarding how much makeup you should use, but we
recommend erring on the side of caution ... less is more.
It's not worth the risk of getting docked if even one judge
thinks your hair and makeup are excessive for your age.
For ages 13 and up, hair and makeup is fine. |

Q: |
Can I
purchase photos/videos after the pageant is over? |
A: |
You are strongly encouraged to purchase a photo/video package
before crowning. The photographers will be busy
processing the orders of those who purchased prior to the
pageant and they may not have time to add additional packages
later. They also concentrate on photographing and
featuring the people who purchased packages, and you may not
be able to obtain some treasured photos of your child if you
did not purchase in advance. |

|
Q: |
Is
interview panel style or round robin? |
A: |
Interview is panel style to ensure that all judges get the
same perspective of the contestants. Sometimes,
especially with little ones, the child is more shy in the
beginning and then comes out of their shell a little more as
the interview progresses. This would mean that in a
round robin style interview, the first judges may perceive the
child as shy, and the later judges may see the child as more
outgoing. |

Q: |
Are ad
pages required? |
A: |
No. To keep costs down and pass along that savings to
you by way of lower fees, our program book is small and
simple. |

|
Q: |
Are moms
allowed in interview? |
A: |
Moms are not allowed in the interview room. **NOTE** the videographer and photographer will be in the
interview room to capture that footage. Be prepared for
that; do not be nervous. NO ONE will see your interview
footage except you. This can be a valuable tool for your
coach if you have one, or even for yourself, to see how you
really come across in an interview. If for no other
reason, many contestants purchase the photo/video packages
just to get feedback on their interview, and many score better
in future pageant interviews because they have this
information. |

January 1, 2025. |
